FUCK MY LIFE

Like the way I lead into this post - not to direct was I????

Why would I write this as an intro title for my blog? Well, lets just say that my life is crap right now.

To start, my Dad has been in and out of the hospital for almost a month now. Doctors kind of fix him up, send him home, and the it gets bad again. It is mainly due to his poor heart which isn't as strong as it used to be. We have been doing this for 4 weeks now. He is still in the hospital now, but should be released soon. We hope this will be the last of the hospitalization, but you never know.

To add to my frustration with life, my job contract ended last week. They tried to extend it, but was told it could not and not to report for work the next day. I am now job hunting and blogging about it too. Here is the link to my new (hopefully temporary) blog ~ Jobless in Hagerstown. Nothing exciting, but wanted to chronicle my daily hunt for a job.

Did I also mention that my wife's contract also ended the same week as mine? Yep, seriously, both of us were jobless in the same week. Contract work is a good paying job, but only if you can keep it.

Good news out of this is that we both can get Unemployment Insurance. When I did the math, it was at a wage of $10.75/hr. Not bad, but when you are making almost twice that, it can hit hard. I did plan for the 'rainy day', so we do have a savings we can dip into. However, we no longer will have Medical Insurance after May - no getting hurt family!

Speaking of May, my sons birthday is at the end of this month as well. We had planned a trip to the National Aquarium in Baltimore, but that has been put on the sidelines for now. He likes fossils, so I am trying to find a place in Western Maryland that we can go to. Maybe he will find the next lost link in the Dinosaur evolution :D

So, as you can see ~ FML!

Maybe I can drop into Accel World for a bit and escape this crap!
