Cosplay: Felicia

To keep with the Darkstalker's theme, here is our lovely cat-girl Felicia. I kept with the Blue/white version of her for this set of cosplays. I found this to be the most popular of the 3 versions that I know of (Blue, Pink, Dark). She is also known as a Bakeneko (Japanese Folklore)

I wanted to find some of he cosplayers that actually took this to the next level. Sometimes you see cosplayers in body suits with the fur pasted on top. These cosplayers however didn't do that and it is really an amazing set we have here.

I am not sure how they did it, but it is fantastic to look at them in all their primoral stances. I guess enough chit-chat, so lets get the lovely ladies of cosplay:

Let me know which of these ladies are your favorite?

We are also always looking for our NEXT COSPLAY STAR, so drop me a line a bluedrakon (at) gmail (dot) com!

  1. I'm really curious to know which is YOUR favorite.

Felicia is one of those costumes that hard to pull off because it defies the laws of physics on some many levels...

Her body proportions are ridiculous (and sometimes inconsistent when looking at the artwork through the years). Her hair does not act in any way that real hair would and making the fur bits stay on bare skin requires nothing short of sorcery (which is the reason why many girls resort to body suits).

I feel that Heidi and Yaya have been the two cosplayers to hit the closest mark when it comes to nailing this cat girl; but I still feel a little cheated out because they both went for "modesty butts" and strapless bras.

But it all truth, it might be almost impossible to recreate this costume with complete accuracy without having amazonian proportions and the velcro for skin.

    1. I will go with Yaya, but I am sure my 'manly' answer should be Malro-Doll - LOL

You are very much correct as the only way to do this would be to 'paste' the fur on. It is a difficult character to cosplay and using a body suit would be highly recommended due to some convention rules.

I will also note that both you and Miss Yulie did some very daring Cat Girl cosplays as well =^.^=

  2. I go for Heidi cos its the way the hair nicely set and expression of the cosplayer. Brings out the sexiness in the character.
