Cosplay: Ivy Valentine of Soul Calibur

Back to the Gaming Cosplayers once more for some stunning visuals. I am picking on the Soul Calibur this time. Now it is hard to nail down a certain version, so we will hit on several of them for this series. If I can use just one version of a character from a game, I will try.

Lets start off with the lovely Ivy Valentine who uses a sword whip (or also known as Isabella "Ivy" Valentine). You have got to love these game designers and the sensual female characters they come up with. I seriously wonder how the hell they can fight in these closes. Some of them are not much more than a swimsuit and a bit if armor.

To give a quick background on her ~ she was  the illegitimate daughter of the pirate Cervantes de Leon. However, she ended up being brought up by a aristocratic family. Due to an unhealthy need to find the cursed sword Soul Edge, she looses both her parents. Trying to avenge her parents, she created a segmented sword only to become the unwitting pawn of the thing she hated. She loss her soul thanks to an attack by her undead father Cervantes. Somehow she gains an artificial soul to keep herself alive to continue her search for the Soul Edge.

Well, that wraps up a brief review and now on to the lovely ladies of cosplay.
