Final Fantasy XIII Odin

Release date: 07/31/2010
Manufacturer: Square-Enix
Series: Final Fantasy XIII
Height: 32cm (12.6 inches)
Cost: $185 - $220 USD

Looks like another crazy high detailed figure from the Square-Enix ~ Final Fantasy XIII franchise. Now, I still think the Shiva is still at the top, but the new Odin figure really stands out as well. I know in the game that Odin rides upon the horse, but here Odin is the horse.

I guess they want you to buy 2 of these figures so you can have Odin actually riding the horse. Not an easy feat with a shoe-string budget, but still a great addition to a FF XIII fan's collection.

I am still going to try to save for the Shiva figure myself, but will pass on this one. Are you planning on getting this?

On a side note, does anyone plan on getting the game itself? I saw the trailers and thought it looked like an Anime than a game, but Final Fanatasy is now for their extremely high end graphics. I do not own a PlayStation or an Xbox, but after watching the trailer - OMFG - this game rocks!

  1. I love my PS3, and I highly suggest getting one if you can afford it. I'm not a fan of the 360, but that's because I don't like the games on the system, the Halo, Gears and whatnot. I'd like to get my hands on a copy of Final Fantasy XIII, but I'm going to have to wait for the price to drop or maybe wait to get it as a gift. I'd give it a try.

Also if you are going to get a PS3 make sure to pick up a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet & Clank Future (which is kid friendly), and even Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 (not the best game, but fun to play if you're a gundam fan).

  2. @cjhitchcock - thanks for the info on the other games. I was leaning more towards a PS3 as I do not care for the ring of death - lol

  3. DEF buying the game. Skipping these figures though.

  4. Hey they made Odin to be like transformers?! Anyway the PS3 game english version should be out in March exclusive on PS3.

Don't just Read and Run, leave me a note about what you thought of the blog!
