Keeping with the olde school anime characters, lets look at Urusei Yatsura. I have not seen this anime or read the manga myself, but know it well thanks to one character - Lum.I have to say this is the sexiest Oni I have seen even if she is an alien. I guess this has to be one of the skimpiest cosplays (where clothes are involved) that you will be to see at many shows.
Not sure how, but it seems that Tiger Stripped swimsuits with thigh high matching boots were the rage in the early 80's.

AlisaKiss is sexy in that cosplay character. I approved it. If I'm right, this anime is done by the same artist as Inuyasha and Ramma 1/2.

ReplyDeleteA hard choice between Alisakiss and Yaya Han. I'd go with Yaya, she has a similar facial expression as Lum.
ReplyDeleteAs yes, Urusei Yatsura is by Rumiko Takahashi. It's her first big hit series spanning over 180 episodes, 6 movies and 12 OVAs. And it's still one of my top favorite animes, I have the whole series on DVD.
@S.Roberts ~ I had no idea that much was released for it. 6 movies alone tells ya something.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me I started watching this a while back and never got very far into it. I watch too many series at the same time.. I really love these cosplays though, I think Ryoko-Demon is my favorite from this batch, even if they all have at least one picture that really stands out ^^
